Drive-in x2

On our first day in Ohio we did a bit of driving around the area to take stock of where we were. Along the way we passed this:

An old-timey fastfood drive-in!  We immediately decided that this would be a perfect lunch-stop to try out when Jason (a friend from Vancouver and groomsman in our wedding) came to visit.  On Sunday (August 13) we checked it out.

 Later that day we realised that there was also a drive-in movie theatre nearby as well!  The weather wasn't that great so we decided it would be the perfect 'indoor' evening activity.

Apparently not many others had the same idea cause it was pretty empty.

It was $18 per car for a double-bill.  We watched "Rise of the Planet of the Apes" and "Captain America".  They were both as good as expected and pretty perfect for a drive-in.

A lot of time to spend in the car in one day, and we all felt a little sore afterwards but it was definitely worth it!
